Sharon Ann Lind (née Reed) was born June 30, 1943, and passed away on April 22, 2026. Sharon grew up in Moline, Illinois, and later made her home in Lakeland, Florida. She was the daughter of Clark Reed and Judith Strang (Johnson). Sharon was preceded in death by her siblings Harry James (“Jim”) Reed and Daryl Vernon Reed, and she is survived by her brother, William (“Cotton”) Reed. Sharon was a devoted mother to Joe Lind and Jodie Lind. She cherished her family deeply, including her grandchildren: Victoria Lind, Dylan Lind, and Kimberly Hay. Sharon was also blessed to know her great-grandchildren, Kambrie Parker and Grayson Parker. Sharon worked throughout her life in hospital care and home health care, taking pride in helping others. She worked hard, and in every season of life, she made time for the people she loved most. Sharon leaves behind more than memories—she leaves a tradition. Her family will remember her long-running legacy of movie marathons, snacks shared with laughter, and time spent together, the kind of togetherness that made ordinary days feel special. Sharon was laid to rest at Greenview Cemetery, East Moline, Illinois, in a private service with family. She will be missed deeply and remembered always.

Bruce Chandler Johnson passed away on October 17, 2025, after a brief illness. Bruce was born on July 16th, 1943, in St Paul, Minnesota, to Lester Ralph Johnson and Mona Alta (Olesen) Johnson. He graduated from Moline High School in Moline, Illinois. He graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He retired from WPAFB. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his pets and family. He was a big Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth (Barnes) Johnson, his two children: Jennifer (David) Little and Matthew (Leedella) Johnson. Also, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at College Hill Community Church at 1547 Philadelphia Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45406, on November 8, 2025, at 2 pm.

Alicia Evelyn Holmes passed away on March 2, 2024. Alicia was born on September 9, 1943, to Nathan Edgar Holmes and Evelyn Clark. Alicia grew up in Moline, Illinois, and attended college in Normal, Illinois. She taught school in Waukegan and Chicago. She lived and worked as an accountant in Frankfurt, Germany, before settling in Milwaukee. She deeply loved her children, Robley (Robin) and Cameron, and was very proud of them. For the past several years, she lived with Cameron, and he helped support her, as chronic illnesses left her essentially homebound. Alicia was an avid reader, and she loved poetry. She had an amazing green thumb and enjoyed filling her yard with native plants. She loved folk music and had an amazing voice. She was always ready with her guitar and a song. She enjoyed singing with Nightingales. Alicia was extremely generous, opening her home to a friend in need. Her ready smile, laugh, and gentle spirit will be missed.

Jeanette Marie Steelandt Sorensen, age 82 of Jenison, Michigan, passed away January 10, 2026. Jeanette was an excellent example of kindness and caring. Her greatest gifts were her family and friends, but she also found her vocational calling as a Speech Pathologist, working for over 35 years in Cedar Springs Schools, as well as a few "retirement years" at Kelloggsville. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jeanette loved nature and animals. She is survived by her daughters Beth (Joe) Heyboer and Jennifer (Dan) Strockis; grandchildren: Cameron (Kali) Jones, Lauren (Corey) Broschak, Cody (Charlie Jordan) Heyboer, Alyssa and Ty Strockis; several great-grandchildren; brothers: Steve (Myrna) Steelandt and Dan (Patsy) Steelandt; as well as nieces and nephews. In her last months, she was blessed with the wonderful care, support, and love from the angels at Green Acres and Faith Hospice.
