Welcome to the home page of the United Township High School Class of 1960. Our High School once stood on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful Mississippi River Valley in East Moline, Illinois. Only our memories remain of our old high school which was torn down in 1996.
Our 50th Anniversary Reunion is scheduled for September 10-11, 2010. Friday night we plan an informal gathering at Miller Trucking & Excavating and Saturday we’ll be at Short Hills for a casual buffet dinner and celebration. And we plan a brunch for Sunday morning for those of you who will still be in town. We’re already hearing from classmates about their plans to attend, and we are expecting a great turn-out! You should have received in the mail a registration form and a map showing our event locations..
We need your biography and photo for our reunion booklet by June 30. What would we like to hear about you?? Around 150-200 words on just about anything you would like to share, such as family, hobbies, work, travel, memories, future plans or great joys. Also, we need a recent photo (we’ll let you decide what recent means), preferably a head shot – but we can crop it as long as your face is visible. Send these to:
