Warren Rowe

Warren Elton Rowe died peacefully at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark., on July 8, 2015.

Cremation was chosen, and a memorial service celebrating his life was held Aug. 8 at New Life Church, 1611 Cheri Whitlock Drive, Siloam Springs, Ark. Another memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Silvis United Methodist Church, 1301 2nd Ave. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762; New Life Church, Siloam Springs, AR 71761; or Silvis United Methodist Church, 1301 2nd Ave., Silvis, IL 61282.

He was born Jan. 14, 1942, in Rock Island, to Oliver Elton and Dorothy Alice Swim Rowe. Warren retired from the East Moline Post Office after 39 years as a mail carrier. He was a member of Woodmen of the World for more than 50 years.

He and his wife, Donna Pace Woods Rowe, were married for 20 years and moved to Siloam Springs from Geneseo in 2005. He loved to travel with friends Steve and Norma and antiquing with his brother, Arlon, and his wife, Sherry Rowe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Kenneth Scott Rowe and Kurt Allen Rowe; one daughter, Tamara Lynn Rowe Gehn; and his father-in-law, Melvin Wayne Pace.

Warren is lovingly remembered by his wife, Donna, Siloam Springs; two sons, David Rowe and family, Rock Island, Chris and April Woods, Kewanee; one daughter, Jennifer Woods, Kewanee; one brother, Arlon, and wife, Sherry Rowe, McAlester, Okla.; one foster sister, Pamila Sieverin, Centennial, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Carol Pace, Siloam Springs.
