Richard Dobrinske


 

Services will be at 2 tomorrow afternoon in Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, for Richard W. Dobrinske, 22, of 208 2nd Street, Green Rock, who died yesterday in Moline Public Hospital of injuries incurred Sept. 5 in a motorcycle accident.

Dobrinske’s death was the 16th traffic fatality of the year in Rock Island County, Coroner Leslie Banning said an inquest will be held next week in Schroder Mortuary,

Dobrinske was injured when his motorcycle went out of control and hit a center strip in the paving at the intersection of Colona Ave. and S. 19th St., East Moline.

The Rev. William Browning of Silvis Methodist Church will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in Greenview Memorial gardens. Calls may be made tonight at the funeral home.

Richard Dobrinske was born July 18, 1942, in Geneseo. He attended Colona Grade School and United Township High School.  On July 18, 1961, he married Naomi Detherage in Cambridge. He was employed as a truck driver by Eagle Food Center.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Gregory Dean; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dobrinske Sr., Green Rock; five sisters, Mrs. Marion Bieleme, Mrs. Carol Bohannon, and Mrs. Lydia Lentz, all of Green Rock, Mrs. Marilyn Britt, East Moline, and Mrs. Margery Kahl, Durant, Ia.; two brothers, Clarence Jr. and Robert, both of Green Rock, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Hanna Dobrinske, Colona.
