Private Samuel E. Jurowicz


Private Jurowicz was from Philadelphia and was a replacement soldier who was drafted 2 days after his first son was born.  He was honored for taking out a Tiger tank by lobbing in grenades when he found that the German soldiers were off-guard, drinking.  He was a lead point scout.
