Martha J. "Martty" Lamb, 73, of Moline, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at her home.
Funeral services are 9 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Martty was born Dec. 7, 1942, in Moline, the daughter of Paul and Edna Hart Versluis. She married Ronald Lamb in 1962, and together they had two children.
She had worked as a dispatcher for the Quad City Airport Fire and Police. She was a member of the Moline Viking Club, enjoyed playing cards at Moline Township Activity Center and deary loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer (Gerald) Gomm, Shiocton, Wis.; grandchildren, Audra Wilson (Matt Hoffman), Dora Gomm, Charles Gomm and Ronald Gomm; siblings, Jim (Pat) Versluis, East Moline, and Tony (Mert) McClure; and many special family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Darryn Lamb.
