James W. Stoneking
James W. Stoneking Jr., 80, of Marissa, IL, born May 21, 1942, in Silvis, IL, died Monday, October 17, 2022, at his residence.
James served in the United States Air Force. He was a pilot and flight instructor for many years. James loved flying and promoting music through sky report. He also had a hobby doing videography. James loved his special friend Barbara, many friends and his beloved cat, Shadow.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Sr., and Beatrice J., nee Breecher, Stoneking; and his brother, Mark A. Stoneking.
Surviving are his four children, James W. (Gisele) Stoneking III, Catherine J. (James) Pennington, Dawn Stoneking, and Thomas C. (Lynn) Stoneking; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Marsha J. (Craig) Kuriger; and his special friend, Barbara.

Funeral: A memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2022, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Doug Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
