Marsha Kay Damp Kastner, 81, of Hampton, passed away Friday, August 2nd, 2024, at Saint Anthony Hospital in Rockford, IL.

Marsha was born on December 19th, 1942 in Aledo, IL, to Roy and Alice (Feehan) Damp. She graduated from United Township High School, class of 1960. She married, David Kastner on June 29th, 1963.

Marsha worked with her mother for many years making draperies while raising her three children, and later worked for Farm Services. She was a catechism teacher at St. Mary's in Hampton and St. John's in Rapids City for over 20 years.

Marsha was an exceptional artist and creator who made beautiful handmade items for friends and family. Sewing, painting, crocheting, knitting and beading were among some of her many talents.

Left to honor her memory are her daughter, Alesia (Mike) Kastner-Bross, Moline; sons, Tim (Dina) Kastner, Hampton and Scott (Emily) Kastner, Silvis; grandchildren, Brianna Kastner and Dylan Kastner; her twin brother, Marty Damp; and her beloved dog, Zoie.

Marsha was preceded in death by her husband, Dave; and her parents.
